Student Transportation
To ensure the safety of all persons on the bus, students are expected to conduct themselves in an acceptable manner, to obey the rules of the bus, and to obey the directions of their bus driver. Drivers will file a misconduct report on any student behavior which is disruptive to the safe operation of the bus. Parents will be contacted by their bus driver when a misconduct report has been submitted regarding their child’s behavior. Following that, the Horizon Transportation Coordinator will work with the school Principal to determine and document a suitable course of action.
A bus misconduct may lead to suspension, and/or termination of busing privileges. Parents are asked to support their child’s bus driver in teaching students acceptable modes of conduct on the school bus.
